As far as you're concerned, there's no greater Xbox football game player - and that is not, nor has it ever been, up for debate. Gone are the days where the winner only gets to gloat as his reward - in this bout, you'll win the big prize, and send your rivals home in bitter defeat. By now, we're certain you know the score - if you want to come out on top in Xbox Madden 10, and snag some cash as well, you better be a solid player. But if you keep fumbling the easy plays, your foe will pile on the touchdowns and sack you until it hurts. Better get to know the playbook, backwards and forwards - and figure out a winning strategy. We're sure that you Xbox sports gamers know this and know it well, but in the event that it's slipped your mind: don't go too nuts with the passing - we do get that it's a tempting road to take, with the lure of some major yardage. On the other hand, now you've left yourself open for a turnover. See to it that your Xbox Madden 10 skills are in top form before you make some big bets. You'll be prepared hit the gridiron, after you've figured out a game plan that incorporates a solid offense and defense. Throw down the gauntlet to all your acquaintances in the online gaming community, now that you're sports video game skills are more potent than they've ever been. Yeah, we all know that in the video game world, it's the Xbox Madden 10 aficionados that don't go down without a fight. But with some solid playing, you can still win the game - and your opponent's money. When you play Xbox games online for money, you can really determine the top gamer. Before there was Xbox Madden 10, there was Xbox Madden 09, which wasn't exactly going to be easy to top. This isn't exactly uncharted territory - sequels are a challenge, especially for the sports video game world. And that scrutiny is especially pronounced from the hardcore gamers, who have high expectations, understandably. We're pleased to report that Madden, unlike other sports video games, is almost immune to letting the fans down - and Xbox Madden 10 is no anomaly. Not content to rest on their laurels, with the crowning achievement that was Madden 09, EA Sports made sure that this was another big football video game coup. Hardcore gamers are pretty jazzed about Xbox Madden 10's newest addition to the fold, their Pro-Tak animation technology, which allows players to have even more control over each play's outcome. Players can fight for the fumble, their tackles are steerable, they can have 9-man gang tackling, and their quarterback can shift around the pocket. And with that, the Madden series has taken things to the next level. Fluid, lifelike graphics aren't the only Xbox Madden 10 upgrade. Now, Xbox Madden 10 bears even more resemblance to an afternoon of viewing NFL on TV, courtesy of broadcast-style presentation, and a more "cinematic" camera style. The authenticity levels just went up as well -- referees yank the players from fumble piles, all-new player equipment is available, and there's more accurate, authentic kicking and throwing styles. Thanks to the improvements in player momentum, the football players have become even more accuracy to the real thing, with their turn rates and acceleration. New to the playbooks of Xbox Madden 10 gamers is the always effective wildcat offense. No surprise, EA Sports has scored the ultimate touchdown with the newest chapter in the football video game saga known as Madden.

One added facet that makes Xbox Madden 10 stand out is the electrifying, hard-hitting soundtrack. Recently, soundtracks have made themselves a crucial ingredient to sports video games, with Madden being one of the strongest examples of this. There's no way you won't be knocked on your ass by the Xbox Madden 10 soundtrack - they've selected some mind-blowingly awesome music. Take a look at the track listing, and then say that you don't care for the Xbox Madden 10 soundtrack: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

Xbox Madden 10 Action May have Your Rivals Conquered and Cashed out

You may need a crash course in football video game history, if hearing about all the innovations and improvements that Xbox Madden 10 offers still hasn't moved you. Yeah, it could be a bit cruel to constantly bag on older games as a means to elevate today's football video games. But it helps to see how much progress has been made in football video games, by taking a glance at the earliest video games and comparing them to Xbox Madden 10. Certainly, there was a huge, untapped market for football video games, when the first generation of console games made their debut. The bad news, though, was that video game technology was still in the "post-Pong" phase, and the games reflected those limitations. The buzzword for this one was "all the excitement" of the real thing, as the game publishers tried to sell their captive audience on this one.

The players themselves have closer resemblance to space aliens than members of a football team. Rough, but true. The photo may be underwhelming, but the game itself is even more so. An early symptom of the low-tech nature of older video games was graphics that just blinked like crazy, rendering the action impossible to read. Gamers used to the crisp aural sensation of today's games would be stunned by the lack of cool sound here. Another disappointment - the screen didn't (or just couldn't) scroll. In a short matter of time, the competitors entered the video game console field, and brought out their take on a more realistic football video game. They definitely took the ball and ran with this one, giving gamers better gameplay, visuals, and sound. However, it was still a bit primitive. While it did tantalize the video game world with its improvements, it was still only a slight move in the right direction. It would take a few more years before anything like that took place. Technology had caught up, albeit slightly, to gamers' football desires, to the point where this game has taken on an iconic status for gamers today. For quite a while, this was considered the greatest football video game by the video game world.

It's relatively simple to see why it was such a mega-popular hit - before this, nobody really attempted to make a football video game that was this sophisticated. This was the ultimate step up in football video games for a long time, so gamers really proclaimed this one the best football game out there, year after year. With the online revival, today's gamers are getting a taste of yesteryear - and loving it. While worthy of praise, it still trails in the distance from Xbox Madden 10.

Hard to believe how much these games have improved since they first came on the scene. We've had a few chuckles, but mocking less advanced video games isn't a productive use of our time. We think you understand. Those games had their weaknesses, but if it weren't for them, we wouldn't be playing Xbox Madden 10 today, so they did get the ball rolling. Hardcore gamers have every reason to be fired up - Xbox Madden 10 really is the winning touchdown. The reviews are as positive as the reaction from the gamers themselves - it's a hit with the fans as well as the video game sites. "Realistic and enjoyable" are comments you'll see during most Xbox Madden 10 reviews. EA Sports has really concocted a Super Bowl sized hit with Xbox Madden 10, as expected.

To hell with the people who bag on Xbox Madden 10 - it truly is the best football video game out there. As great as Xbox sports video games offerings are, Xbox Madden 10 is at the top of the pack. It's the favorite of hardcore gamers, and with good cause. More than just a great game, it's a chance to display your video game excellence, when you clash for cash.

The stakes have been raised, and Xbox Madden 10 maniacs now can take each other on for some serious cash. After you've really given yourself a crash course and learned all the rules, you'll score touchdown after touchdown - and make off with your rival's bankroll as well.
